Second-source qualification of an MHM wet-end kit for copper concentrate pumps.
A copper mine wanted to qualify an aftermarket source for MHM concentrate pumps before moving away from OEM spares. The trial had to prove dimensional interchangeability and comparable wear life.
We supplied a full MHM wet-end kit — impeller, rubber liner, throatbush, expeller and shaft sleeve — with material certificates and dimension reports. A trial install on one pump was monitored against the OEM reference.
Trial wear data cleared the buying decision. The repeat order now covers all concentrate pumps in the circuit.
