Shaft Sleeve / Bearing Assembly

What it does

The shaft sleeve protects the shaft under the gland or mechanical seal. The bearing assembly locates the shaft axially and radially under the loads of the impeller and coupling. Correct assembly clearances are essential for service life.

Material options

• Stainless steel / 2Cr13 shaft sleeve — standard corrosion and wear resistance.
• Chrome-plated or ceramic-coated sleeve — for severe abrasive duties.
• Cast-iron or steel bearing housing — per model, with oil or grease lubrication.

Manufacturing & quality

Shaft assemblies are checked for run-out, bearing fit and seal surface finish. Labyrinth seals and oil-seal arrangements are assembled and tested before shipment.
