Impeller

What it does

The impeller converts motor power into slurry velocity and head. In abrasive duties it sees the highest wear rate of any wet-end component, so material selection and vane geometry directly affect service life.

Material options

• A05 / A07 high-chrome white iron — the standard for abrasive mineral slurries; hardness 58–62 HRC after heat treatment.
• R55 / R26 natural rubber — best for corrosive and moderately abrasive fine-particle duties where resilience matters.
• Polyurethane (PU) — selected for oil-bearing sands and fine abrasive where some elasticity is needed.

Manufacturing & quality

Each impeller is cast from certified alloys, heat-treated, machined to the OEM profile, and inspected for balance and dimensional tolerance. Batch material certificates are available on request.
